Remembering Jim Travis

August 22, 1932 – February 21, 2022

All of us at TFWB Engineers unite in honoring Jim Travis, Principal Emeritus, who passed away on February 21, 2022. We fully appreciate his inspiring leadership and pursuit of excellence that has contributed to the company’s great reputation that proudly bears his name.

Jim was chosen as “Engineer of the Year” in 1994 by the Consulting Engineers Council of Washington (CECW). Some of his remarkable work in the company includes the Lynwood Hall Library renovation and the Interim Ballard High School at Lincoln High School.
