Aprille Balangue brings over 16 years of expertise in electrical engineering and architectural lighting design. With a strong focus on collaboration, she actively engages with clients and design teams to develop comprehensive and innovative solutions that are both intelligent and sustainable, while remaining within budgetary constraints.

Driven by a deep commitment to responsible design practices, Aprille consistently seeks ways to mitigate the environmental impact of the built environment. Mike Fitzmaurice

P.E., LEED™, Principal

Mike has over 30 years of experience designing electrical systems for numerous commercial projects across the state of Washington. As an active design lead in his projects, he applies hands-on design in power, communications, AV, security, fire alarm, closed circuit television, and emergency power systems.

His extensive communications and audio-visual experience includes the design of wide area networks and local area networks for entire school districts and commercial clients. His network design experience includes high-speed Ethernet, IP networks and prioritization, fiber optic cable plant, and coordinating utility services. On the audio-visual side, Mike has designed complete classroom systems, including HD video and projectors connected to video servers, incoming cable television, and sound system. He is highly experienced in addressing the technical needs of modern educational facilities and has written Master Plans for several districts.

Kevin Wartelle

P.E., LEED™, Principal

Kevin has been with Travis Fitzmaurice since 1996. He has served as principal-in-charge and/or project manager on numerous commercial, civic, tribal, and educational projects. Kevin has extensive experience in all aspects of electrical design, as well as the ever-changing technologies of data and telecommunications. In addition to being a professional engineer, Kevin is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) through BICSI. He combines hands-on experience with thorough knowledge of industry codes and standards to apply the fundamentals of telecommunications distribution design to the unique requirements of each project. Through his participation in BICSI-sponsored continuing education programs and conferences, Kevin keeps up with the latest technologies and practices in the continually evolving communications industry. Kevin’s knowledge of the ever-evolving technological needs, and his expertise with telecommunications, has earned him projects of varying sizes within the US, as well as internationally in China.

BIM Manager

Andrew brings over nine years of experience in the electrical design industry. As BIM Manager, Andrew performs many tasks, including 3D clash detection and quality control of drawings and models while also assisting in electrical design and construction administration. He is exceptionally talented in coordinating complex projects and enjoys utilizing his skills to accurately detail every building component.
