Last week, our team was honored to attend the Foundation for Edmonds School District annual breakfast, A Recipe for Success.

We were welcomed with an incredible performance by the Mountlake Terrace High School Jazz Band Combo. Then, Board President Shanon Tysland presented all the programs the Foundation supports. It was inspiring to learn about the incredible work the Foundation is doing, including providing equitable access to art, scholarship opportunities for vocational programs, job training, paid internships, meal kits to local families, and more. Hearing from a student that went through the paid internship program and all the skills and confidence she acquired through this experience shows how these resources help students thrive and contribute to their community.
