Built in 1909, the 9,557-square-foot, two-story building is in need of a full set of seismic updates and other renovations. The new structural design will bring the building up to seismic code so the library can serve as a disaster relief center for the community in case of an earthquake. Other upgrades include the replacement of existing HVAC and fire alarm systems, modifications to the fire sprinkler service, upgrades to electrical and security systems, updated lighting and lighting controls, and plumbing improvements while meeting sustainability goals and enhancing patrons’ experience.
We’re thrilled to partner with BuildingWork for the electrical design of this historical landmark that will better serve current and future generations.
