The expansion project also includes renovations and improvements to the Canyon Creek gym and the Skyview kitchen, cafeteria, and a covered outdoor area was added at Skyview Middle School. Improved parking access, bus circulation, and parent pick-up/drop-off for both campuses were also a focus of the project.

We implemented various sustainable features in the electrical design to support the district’s commitment to the environment. The use of state-of-the-art “smart lighting,” by way of Power over Ethernet (POE) lighting, coupled with tunable lighting controls, gives staff and students complete control over their desired lighting quality and allows them to personalize learning environments according to their needs. Electrical plug load management with sweeping shut-off also dramatically reduces energy use.
