2011 Crow Island School Citation, American School and University Educational Interiors Showcase
Oak Harbor High School, a modernization and addition project, transformed the outdated facility into a state-of-the-art high school.
The redesigned campus focused on bringing daylight to all classrooms, widening corridors, and updating classroom technology. Additionally, the updated facility employs sustainable practices such as infiltration gardens and recycling existing building components.
Some amenities include an outdoor atrium that allows all classrooms to have windows, restaurant-grade appliances in its culinary arts room, an indoor passage connecting all buildings, and a larger library.
