Bio

“I enjoy working interactively with clients to fully understand their needs and goals so that our electrical design will contribute to a facility meeting the needs and goals of the particular client.”

Kevin has been with Travis Fitzmaurice since 1996. He has served as principal-in-charge and/or project manager on numerous commercial, civic, tribal, and educational projects. Kevin has extensive experience in all aspects of electrical design, as well as the ever-changing technologies of data and telecommunications. In addition to being a professional engineer, Kevin is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) through BICSI. He combines hands-on experience with thorough knowledge of industry codes and standards to apply the fundamentals of telecommunications distribution design to the unique requirements of each project. Through his participation in BICSI-sponsored continuing education programs and conferences, Kevin keeps up with the latest technologies and practices in the continually evolving communications industry. Kevin’s knowledge of the ever-evolving technological needs, and his expertise with telecommunications, has earned him projects of varying sizes within the US, as well as internationally in China.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Washington, Hawaii and Maryland, is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and is a LEED-Accredited Professional.

When Kevin isn’t busy at work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing.
